About Me

I am a student in the M.Ed. Educational Technology Program at the University of South Carolina's Columbia campus. I also work at the University, at the Institute for Families in Society, where I design and produce creative information products for the Health Services Research Team.

My role at the Institute would be best described as a "soup to nuts" one in which I typically get assignments with few "how" details. I enjoy working with my colleagues to help them translate their research into products that are accessible and interesting. One example is the large poster that I'm carrying in the photo. My next professional goal is take the technical skills acquired through the M.Ed. program into some aspect of Instructional Design, preferably serving adult learners.
